NFL Cougar Highlights: Week Five

SCORING ON his first-ever NFL run—as New Orleans fullback Jed Collins did last week—would seem a tough feat to top. Not so for the Washington State great Cougfans affectionately dubbed "Jedzilla."

His maiden professional catch, a one-yard pass from Drew Brees, started the scoring for the Saints on their way to an eventual 30-27 victory against Carolina, Sunday.

Here's how all of the NFL Cougars performed in week five:

Hamza Abdullah, S, Arizona, 7th season: Assisted on one special teams tackle in the Cardinals' loss to brother Husain and Minnesota.

Husain Abdullah, S, Minnesota, 4th season: Posted five tackles (4 solo) in the Vikings' first win of the year, a 34-10 victory against brother Hamza and Arizona.

Erik Coleman, S, Detroit, 8th season: The Spokane native was declared inactive (ankle) for the Lions' Monday night win against Chicago.
