TUEL: Cleared for takeoff

JEFF TUEL HAS been cleared to play this weekend against Stanford. The junior quarterback received positive news from a X-Ray on his healed collarbone earlier on Wednesday. So, will Tuel start? Will he play extensively?

You'll have to park yourself in Martin Stadium or tune in Saturday at 4:30 p.m. (TV: Versus) to find out.

Paul Wulff said Jeff Tuel's role in Saturday's homecoming tilt matching Washington State against Stanford will be a gametime decision.

Tuel met with Cougar team physicians Wednesday morning and after the exam was cleared to play with no restrictions this week.

Tuel suffered a fractured left clavicle in WSU's season-opening victory over Idaho State.

Marshall Lobbestael in his place has completed 118 of 182 passes for 1,570 yards, with 15 touchdowns and four interceptions. His QB rating is No. 17 among FBS passers, at 160.10.
