NFL Cougar Highlights: Week Thirteen

COUGAR GREAT Jason Hill fell victim to the Jacksonville housecleaning this past week. The receiver, a five-year NFL veteran and Jaguar starter, was waived by the club despite being their team-leader in touchdown receptions and yards-per-catch.

He was just a part of the turmoil surrounding Jacksonville in recent days. Head coach Jack Del Rio was also given a pink-slip, as was receivers coach Johnny Cox. Oh, and owner Wayne Weaver announced he'll be putting the Jags on the market.

Prior to the season, Hill inked a two-year, $3.5 million contract with Jacksonville. He totaled 25 catches for the Jags over 10 games this season. His 367 receiving yards and 3 touchdowns are career bests. Hill caught 30 passes for San Francisco in 2008.
