BY THE NUMBERS: Cougs head into Seattle

FOR THOSE UNABLE to attend Saturday's game, as long as you have ESPN2 you're all set. Next week, however, is a different story. If you're not able to travel to Corvallis, and you don't have the Pac-12 Networks, you'll want to make alternative plans or fire up the radio. First things first, though, here's a look at some of the numbers for the Cougs and Ducks with the Seattle Game coming up fast.

The Cougs play Saturday night on ESPN2. Next week, WSU at Oregon State is available on the Pac-12 Networks, with a kickoff time of 3 p.m.

0 - The number of times Mike Leach has faced Oregon.

0 -The number of points Oregon allowed Arizona in Week 4 -- Arizona had been averaging over 46 points and 600 yards per game over its first three games.

2 – The number of times, including this year, the Seattle Game has featured a Pac-12 opponent. WSU has played a game in Seattle each 10 times, with the series having begun in 2002.

5 – The number of points Washington State trailed the Ducks by at halftime last season. Oregon pulled away in the second half and won 43-28.

5 - The number of wins Oregon has in 10 tries against Top 10 teams under Chip Kelly including bowl games. Oregon is 11-5 under Kelly against Top 25 teams.

6.5 - The number of sacks by Travis Long -- tops in the Pac-12 and tied for second in the nation. The sacks already represent a season high for Long through four games. If he were to continue this pace, he would set the all-time WSU mark with 19.5, topping Dewayne Patterson (17.0, 1993)

7 - Oregon's rank nationally in rushing offense, with 304 yards per game. The Ducks are averaging 267 yards passing.

8 - The number of true freshmen who have appeared in a game for the Cougs this season.

8 - The number of positions on offense and defense, out of a possible 22, that have seen the same starter the first four games (3 on offense, 5 on defense.)

13 - The number of Cougars making their first collegiate start this season.

14 - The number of sacks by WSU this season, which places them in a tie for first in the Pac-12.

17 - The number of consecutive games Oregon has scored 30 or more points, the second-longest streak in the FBS behind Oklahoma State (18).

17 - The number of sacks WSU had all of last season.

17.5 - The number of career sacks by Long.

18 - The number of tackles by Jared Byers, good for fourth on the Cougs.

26 - The number of tackles by redshirt freshman MIK Darryl Monroe, good for third on the team.

32 - The combined number of receptions by true freshmen wide receivers Gabe Marks and Brett Bartolone through four games.

32 - The number of tackles posted by team-leading Deone Bucannon.

40 - The number of catches Marquess Wilson would need to pass Michael Bumpus (195) for the top spot on the WSU career receptions list.

46 - The number of receiving yards Marquess Wilson needs to break the school record set by Brandon Gibson (2,756.)
