Cougs offer potential Texas package deal

PACKAGE DEALS are often talked about by prospects in the early stages of recruiting, but they seldom come to fruition in February. But there's a Texas duo for whom the chances of a package deal are about as good as they get. And Washington State is one of three schools who has offered both prospects…

WR Armanti Foreman (6-0, 170) and RB D'Onta Foreman (6-1, 180) are twin brothers out of Texas City, Texas.

Armanti has a baker's dozen offers, while D'Onta has three. CF.C had a brief conversation with Armanti before his cell phone ran out of juice and he said chief among what he's looking for in a school is a place where he and D'Onta will suit up together.

"I really want to play with my brother," said Armanti.

Washington State, Houston and Illinois are the three schools that have offered both brothers. Armanti also holds offers from USC, Texas, Florida, Kansas State, Michigan State, Texas A&M and others.

ARMANTI IS A four-star receiver prospect ranked No. 22 in the land, while D'Onta is ranked three stars and No. 80 nationally as a running back by scout.com.

"Washington State, they just like me as a player, someone who can get out and catch the ball -- they like that I'm a playmaker, a natural athlete," said Armanti.
