Bellevue WR adds to growing WSU walk ons

WSU HAS ADDED another preferred walk on. Bellevue wide receiver Ryan Turman notified CF.C via text message that he will join the Cougar program later this summer.

Turman (6-0, 195), a senior from Interlake High, is expected to line up as an inside wide receiver for the Cougs.

He spoke with area recruiter and WSU special teams coach Eric Russell Thursday evening to tell him he was coming to Pullman.

In addition to Turman, known preferred walk ons for the Cougs in 2013 include:
LS Jerred Sonneborn
OL Austin Kanouse
WR John Thompson
WR Leo Simmons III
QB Luke Falk
QB Domenic Rockey
QB Connor Ennis
LB/ATH Austin Rapp
K Eric Powell

Turman had earlier intended to walk on at Washington but the Huskies later went in a different direction. In addition to Wazzu, the 6-0, 195-pounder had walk-on offers from USC, Idaho, Mississippi State and others but told CF.C that when it came down to a decision, Washington State was the best option.

Turman was a three year starter at receiver for Interlake and also saw some time at CB his senior season.
