BREAKING: JUCO OL announces he's WSU-bound

IT APPEARS WASHINGTON STATE has added a new member to its 2013 class, and in so doing the Cougs are developing quite a pipeline to a Bay Area junior college. On Sunday, College of San Mateo offensive lineman Devonte McClain announced on his twitter account he had committed to Wazzu. He will become the third CSM alum on the WSU roster.

McClain, a 6-4, 295-pound offensive lineman, made the announcement late Sunday evening.

"devonte mcclain ? @ lionhearted_59 15m

Just committed to Washington State University! # Pac12 # Football # D1," read the tweet.

He was named first team all-NorCal this past season at offensive tackle.

McClain was set to graduate from CSM last month and would have three years to play two for the Cougars starting this season.

It is thought he will be arriving to Pullman this month along with other members of the 2013 WSU class although that couldn't be immediately confirmed.

McClain hails from the same junior college as Cougars Justin Sagote and Lyman Faoliu.
