THE COUGS WILL feature new white, crimson and gray uniforms for the 2013-14 season. Late on Thursday, Washington State offered the first looks at the new threads, which feature something very unique on the back...

Washington State men's basketball student-athletes Will DiIorio, DaVonté Lacy and D.J. Shelton modeled the Cougs' new white, crimson and gray jerseys.

More details from WSU: They are Nike Hyperelite Uniforms, which are made from a thinner and lighter material than previous uniforms. The laser-cut perforations increase ventilation and Dri-FIT fabric helps wick sweat away so players are equipped to stay cool, dry, comfortable, and move better.

A more obvious change to the fans is the addition of the Washington State fight song on the back of each jersey.

Season tickets for the 2013-14 men's basketball season are currently on sale, while mini-plans go on sale Sept. 16. Single-game tickets go on sale for CAF members and season ticket holders on Sept. 30, and to the general public on Oct. 4. For tickets or ticket information, please visit or call 1-800-Go-Cougs (1-800-462-6847).

The Cougs will first wear the uniforms in game when Washington State plays host to Central Washington in exhibition action on Nov. 1. WSU opens the season on Friday, Nov. 8 against CSU Bakersfield at 7 p.m. at Beasley Coliseum.
