"It's going to be very nice… The locker room is going to be crazy," said Beavers out of Crespi High.
The 6-2, 210-pound Beavers said the junior day experience out on the Palouse bumped the Cougars up in his mind.
"It stands very high, higher now because I got to see all the stuff they're putting in, the new buildings, where the program is going now… Washington State has always been an option, I just wanted to go see it and learn more about the school," said Beavers.
BEAVERS SAID HE thoroughly enjoyed his meeting with Mike Leach at the end of his trip.
"I had a whole hour to sit down and talk to him," said Beavers. "We talked about education, his plans for the program. He is just a very interesting guy… he talked about when he went bear hunting and he showed us this picture of the bear he got. It was huge."
Beavers also watched film with WSU linebackers coach Ken Wilson and spent time with his area recruiter, Paul Volero.
"He's the guy who offered me so we have a pretty close relationship. I call him every once in a while and he's a pretty cool guy. We talk about how the defense runs, how they play defense," said Beavers.
BEAVERS POSTED 55 tackles and three sacks as a junior for Crespi. He holds offers from Washington State, Cal, Nebraska, Washington, Miami and San Diego State.
"I think they're an up and coming program, they're getting new facilities and they're dedicated to win the Pac-12," said Beavers. "They're working hard to try and do it."
Beavers said he'll be going to Cal for their junior day and Nebraska for their spring game.
