NEWSLINE: Cougs on wrong end of 2-for-1?

THE WSU-GONZAGA game this coming season, which was thought to have been played in Pullman, will instead be held in Spokane, according to media reports. Reaction has been swift, and it's not of the positive variety.

Moving the WSU vs Gonzaga game to the Spokane arena next season is the WORST decision. Its like moving the WSU vs UW game to the Kibbie Dome

The Cougs, according to a report in The Gonzaga Bulletin, agreed to play this year's game to the Spokane Arena, making it two years in a row WSU will travel to Spokane to play the Bulldogs. A report in the Spokesman says this year's game is actually the second of a three-game agreement, whereby WSU would play at Gonzaga (2013-14), then in the second year play at a neutral site in Spokane (Spokane Arena this coming season) and then the following year WSU would play host to Gonzaga in Pullman.

So two years the Cougs go to Spokane, and in return they get one game in Pullman.

Washington State has not yet officially announced moving this year's game to Spokane, nor the reasoning behind it.
