WSU Depth Chart: 3 new starters vs. Nevada

ONE THING ABOUT Mike Leach, he is far more apt to make changes to his starting lineup than most coaches based on week-to-week performance. Two new names hold starting positions on the just-released depth chart for Nevada. And one "old" starter is back on top.

Charleston White is the new starter at the field corner position.

Last week's starter, Tracy Clark, is now listed as the No. 2 boundary corner behind starter Daquawn Brown. Clark had a rough go of it in the opener, giving up a 78-yard touchdown pass on the game's opening play.

Darius Lemora is the new starter at strong safety. Week One starter Teondray Caldwell is now listed as the No. 2.

The moves were foreshadowed in Saturday night's practice. CF.C's Christopher Shaw reported Caldwell and Clark were no longer running with the first unit, with Lemora and White taking their place, respectively.

Lemora posted six tackles off the bench against Rutgers, but White didn't play against Rutgers. Viewers if the WSU-Rutgers game saw Caldwell leave with an injury and although he didn't appear to return to the field, he was practicing with the team on Saturday, with the 2's.

Also of note, another starter looks ready to go. SAM Cyrus Coen is listed with the 1's and practiced fully on Saturday. Coen missed the Rutgers game, apparently due to injury, with Mitch Peterson taking his place.

Gabe Marks, as he was on the preseason depth chart and on the Rutgers depth chart, continues to be listed as an OR for second string at Z. Marks did not travel to Seattle for the Rutgers game and Leach has said they are still considering whether to redshirt him. It will be interesting to see if he travels to Nevada.
