Cougs welcome Colorado, say bye to USC in ‘15

WASHINGTON STATE’s 2015 football schedule is set, with two of three non-conference games at home and six games in Martin Stadium overall. Whereas the Cougs had two games on Thursday/Friday this season, they will only have one game not played on a Saturday. WSU will finally play a pair of Pac-12 South teams in 2015, after having missed them the previous two seasons.

The bye week, the only one on the WSU schedule, comes early – after the last non-conference game and before Pac-12 play kicks off.

The Cougs finally get Colorado and UCLA back on the schedule in 2015 after a two-year absence. The Cougs last played both teams during Mike Leach’s first season in Pullman.

WSU will miss USC and Utah in 2015.

They will also travel to the fertile L.A. recruiting ground after not having a game scheduled there this year, (Washington State hosts USC on Oct. 1 this season.)

The longest road stretch comes after the bye, when they travel to Cal and Oregon in successive weeks. Apart from that, WSU will not play more than one road game before playing at home the following week.
