That said, Bender (pictured above) is listed by WSU as the backup quarterback on the chart and not, as some had speculated with three games left, walk on Connor Ennis.
The Cougs’ first practice since Saturday’s game takes place tonight and CF.C will be there, check back later tonight for our report on the QBs and more.
It’s also interesting looking at the No. 2 WIL this week on the depth chart.
Dylan Hanser is listed as the backup to starter Jeremiah Allison, taking the place of Tana Pritchard. Hanser is credited with playing in three games this season, primarily on special teams, and has posted one tackle. Pritchard began the season as the No. 1 WIL before being passed by Allison. He has played in eight games, with 23 tackles on the season.
Theron West is listed as the backup to Jamal Morrow at running back, though as noted HERE in our article on Dave Yost's Spokane Cougar Club luncheon on Monday, don’t count out Gerard Wicks returning after missing the USC game. The same goes for Cracraft, and CB Charleston White. Cracraft didn’t play last week but is expected to be available for tonight’s practice.
White has been out since the Stanford game. He continues to be listed as the No. 2 at the field corner spot behind Patrick Porter on the chart but Mike Leach said in his Tuesday Pac-12 call that White should be ready to go for Oregon State.
Riley Sorenson and Sam Flor are again listed on this week’s chart as “or” at center.
