Cougs win: WSU rookie QB unFalkingbelievable!

WHAT A PERFORMANCE. Cougar rookie quarterback Luke Falk was remarkable in his first collegiate start, throwing for over 400 yards and five touchdowns. But as stellar as Falk was, it didn’t overshadow the play of the Cougar D. Indeed, the Crimson stop corps stepped up with a great pass rush, led by BUCK Kache Palacio. And wide receivers Tyler Baker and Vince Mayle, well they went video game.

Luke Falk unofficially was 44-61 for 471 yards and five TDs. He did not throw an interception. Tyler Baker caught nine passes -- NINE -- for 113 yards with one TD grab in place of the injured River Cracraft. Vince Mayle racked up 143 hashes on six grabs.

Stay tuned. We’ll have a mountain of coverage coming your way here on CF.C ... You can start with this ... How they scored: Cougs vs. Beavers
