Cougs' depth chart for ASU: Porter's gain

COUGAR CORNERBACK DAQUAWN BROWN must sit out the first half vs. ASU for a targeting call against OSU and the depth chart this week reflects that, with Brown listed as the No. 2 boundary corner behind Charleston White.

The starters on the just-released chart for ASU at the boundary and field cornerback positions are Charleston White and Patrick Porter, respectively. Backing them up are Daquawn Brown and Marcellus Pippins.

Tyler Baker is listed as the starting Y receiver with River Cracraft the No. 2. Cracraft had been listed as the No. 1 Y on the last two games' charts but hasn't played. Baker the last two games has had a pair of nine-reception outings.

Rickey Galvin, who threw a vicious block against OSU and had to leave the game, continues to be listed as the starting H on the new chart, with Robert Lewis the No. 2.

Cole Madison remains as the No. 1 right tackle on the chart. Mike Leach said Monday he expects Jacob Seydel will get the start there for the third consecutive outing.

Jamal Morrow and Marcus Mason are listed 1-2 at running back. Gerard Wicks has been absent since the USC game and Theron West came out of the game early against OSU. Washington State does not comment on absences due to injury/illness/etc. More here.
