BREAKING: Cougs land three JUCO verbals

JUST ONE DAY after Riverside City College cornerback Treshon Broughton committed to Washington State, three of his teammates decided they wanted to go crimson too. On Saturday, official visitors Jonah Moi, DeVante Wilson and Jeremiah Mitchell became future Cougars during their official visits.

Riverside assistant coaches informed CF.C that Wilson, Moi and Mitchell (pictured above, L-R) all pulled the trigger on Saturday night and verballed to the Washington State staff.

DE Jeremiah Mitchell checks in at 6-5, 255-pounds. He has double-digit offers this recruiting cycle including ones from WSU, Oregon, Tennessee and ASU. Mitchell was set to pledge Oregon when they informed him they were waiting on someone else and didn't know if they'd have room for him. He posted 13.5 TFL and six sacks among his 43 tackles (20 solo). He has 2-to-play-2 and is expected to graduate with his AA in the spring.

DE Devante Wilson checks in at 6-5, 245-pounds and held offers from WSU, Cal and ASU among others. He’s quick off the ball and has good closing speed for his size. The three-star prospect had 36 tackles this season (18 solo) with three sacks and a fumble return for score.

LB/DE Jonah Moi was second on RCC in tackles this season with 82 (45 solo) and posted 10.5 TFL, five pass break-ups, two forced fumbles and a 60-yard fumble return for score among his stats. The 6-4, 235-pounder committed to Hawaii back in March, but flipped to the Cougs this evening. He’s rated 2-stars on Scout.com, with known offers from WSU, BYU and Hawaii.

All three visitors are currently still in Pullman on their official visits. CF.C will be reaching out to them on Sunday once they've left campus. As soon as we hear back from them, we'll be sure to update this story.
