NFL Cougar Highlights: Week 14

WITH CHICAGO receiver Brandon Marshall suffering a season-ending injury on Thursday, Marquess Wilson’s involvement in the Bears’ game plan for the remaining three games of the season will increase substantially.

The former Washington State grab man missed Chicago’s first 10 games after injuring his clavicle in August. Wilson has not had a significant impact on the Bears’ fortunes in his four games back from that injury, but was targeted by quarterback Jay Cutler five times in their 41-28 loss to Dallas on Thursday. He caught two of those passes for 19 yards.

Here’s how the rest of the NFL Cougs performed in week 14:

Husain Abdullah, S, Kansas City, 6th season: Posted four tackles (3 solo) in the Chiefs’ 17-14 loss to Arizona.

Deone Bucannon, S, Arizona, Rookie: Recorded three solo tackles and forced a fumble in the Cardinals’ win against the Chiefs.

Jed Collins, FB, Detroit, 5th season: No recorded stats from the Lions’ 34-17 win against Tampa Bay.
