Houston, we have a Twitter problem on Leach
Stevens' response was definitive, but it wasn't as entertaining as some of the tweets coming out of the CUB and WSU Pullman twitter accounts.
There's a serious side to these things, though.
The first reaction for recruits, like fans, can often be to initially believe the reports -- even though all the ones last year, and the year before, turned out to be false.
Leach has been linked to a job opening every year since he's been in Pullman, by legitimate news organizations and your garden-variety internet posters. One day he's going to a school in Texas, the next to a school in Oklahoma or Tennessee. He was rumored by footballscoop.com after his first season in Pullman to have talked to North Carolina State.
Leach's WSU salary is $2.75 million per year. He just completed his third season in Pullman and has five years remaining on his contract that includes a rollover clause.
