Video: New WSU offers extended by Mike Leach

THE WIDE RECEIVER position has long held the top spot when it comes to the most Washington State offers extended in the class of 2016. But that’s changed this week.

Joining the wideout spot are the defensive end prospects – each position features 14 known WSU offers to uncommitted prospects.

Cornerback and offensive tackle are right behind, at 13 apiece.

Outside linebacker and safety each feature 10 WSU offers out to uncommitted prospects.

Mike Leach has three known commitments in the 2016 class:

QB Ian Book (6-1, 193) El Dorado Hills, Calif., Oak Ridge High
LB Jihad Woods (5-11, 215) La Mesa, Calif, Helix High
WR Renard Bell (5-10, 160) Los Angeles, Cathedral High

Here’s a look at the latest known WSU offers that have gone out the door since Sunday:

OT Jaelen Lewis (6-6, 265) Antelope, Claif., Antelope High

RB J.J. Taylor (5-6, 155) Corona, Calif., Centennial High
