WSU hoops: Early home cooking in Pac-12 slate

WASHINGTON STATE opens the 2015-16 Pac-12 Conference men’s basketball season with home games against UCLA, USC and Washington, the Pac-12 announced Friday. Five of WSU’s first seven conference games are at Beasley Coliseum.

Dates, game times and television arrangements have not been finalized for any conference games, and nonconference schedules have not been released. However, WSU’s first three league games will be played before classes resume Jan. 11 after the holiday break.

The home game with Washington is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 9.

The Cougars’ 18-game conference schedule concludes with road games against Oregon State, Oregon and Washington. The Pac-12 tournament is set for March 9-12 in Las Vegas.

WSU season ticket holders from 2014-15 have priority on purchasing season tickets through Monday. Daily prizes are being given away.

Season tickets for other fans go on sale Aug. 17. Season ticket holders and Cougar Athletic Foundation members may begin purchasing single-game tickets Oct. 5. Single-game tickets for the general public go on sale Oct. 19. For information, contact
