Coug Cracraft named to Biletnikoff watch list

WASHINGTON STATE junior wide receiver River Cracraft has been named to the 2015 Biletnikoff Award Watch List, the school announced Wednesday in a release. The 6-0, 199-pound junior hauled in 66 receptions this past season - 10th all-time at WSU - despite playing in only nine games.

It's the second time Cracraft has been named to the Biletnikoff watch list. Cracraft, Vince Mayle and Isiah Myers were named to the watch list last year. Mayle was later selected as one of the 10 semifinalists.

Cracraft, who racked up 771 receiving yards this past season, finished seventh in the Pac-12 with eight touchdown grabs. His 66 receptions were 10th in the conference and third on the team. He had four 100-yard receiving games and his 7.3 rpg was No. 10 nationally.

His 14-catch performance against Stanford set the all-time single game mark at Washington State.

Cracraft, an inside receiver who lines at up at the Y, was particularly adept on third downs last season, making key catches time and again to extend drives before he was slowed by injury.

As a true freshman in 2013, Cracraft started 10 games, appeared in all 13 and earned All-Pac-12 honorable mention honors after grabbing 46 passes for 614 yards and three touchdowns. His 13.3 ypc was second-best on the team.

The Tallahassee Quarterback Club will announce 10 semifinalists on Nov. 16. The three finalists will be announced on Nov. 24. The 2015 Biletnikoff Award winner will be presented on Dec. 10.

Cracraft is one of six Pac-12 receivers named to the Biletnikoff watch list. Joining Cracraft are Victor Bolden, Oregon State; Cayleb Jones, Arizona; Byron Marshall, Oregon; Jordan Payton, UCLA and Nelson Spruce, Colorado.
