CFC TV: 2 pros, 2 cons as Cougs head to Cal

PULLMAN -- What have we learned about the Washington State Cougars after three games? Former Washington State tight end and current analyst Tony Thompson offers up insight about Luke Falk's ability to hit receivers on the ball in his list of positives and concerns as the start of Pac-12 play looms for the Cougs.

"So much of Air Raid is predicated on the quarterback's ability to check down and hit receivers play side," Thompson says. "Luke Falk has done an amazing job of hitting receivers play side so they can get yards after the catch." Click the video below for his complete run down on what he's liked about the Cougars so far and what concerns him as they head into the heart of the schedule.

Kickoff Saturday is at 1 p.m. (Pac-12 Networks). Oddsmakers peg the Bears as 14 1/2-point favorites.

Attention Seattle Cougars. Tony Thompson is co-hosting a viewing party for Saturday's WSU-Cal game (1 p.m. kickoff) that will benefit Team Gleason. The gathering will be held at Bad Jimmy's Brewing (4358 B Leary Way NW) in Seattle. All proceeds from the $5 "No White Flags Ale" pints will go to Team Gleason, as will $1 from every other beer sold during the game. Doors open at 11 a.m.
