NFL Cougar Highlights: Week Three

WASHINGTON STATE great Xavier Cooper saw his first NFL action on Sunday. The Cleveland rookie, a third-round pick last spring, sat the season’s first two games, but an injury to defensive lineman Desmond Bryant led to his activation.

"It was truly a blessing to get out there and work with these guys," Cooper told "I think I did a lot of good things well. I set the edge. I got off the ball. Big thing is the coaches just want me to get off the ball and get vertical."

Cooper posted one solo tackle in the Browns’ 27-20 loss to Oakland and was flagged once on an offsides infraction.
