CFC TV: Klay T made a mark on Clifford & Hawk

PULLMAN -- New Washington State center Conor Clifford has only been on campus since August but he's already logged at least one memory that will last a lifetime: meeting Cougar great and Golden State standout Klay Thompson.

Monday was media day in Cougar basketball and Clifford was asked about the JC championship he won last season at Saddleback College and how that winning mentality might translate to his first season in crimson. Clifford averaged 14.7 points and 6.2 rebounds last season at Saddleback and earned Orange Empire Conference and Southern California MVP honors.

Clifford wasn't the only Cougar big man who was impressed by Thompson during the NBA All-Star's recent visit. Here's Josh Hawkinson's take ..
