One pretty sequence capturing Gabe Marks TD

SPORTS PHOTOGRAPHY is so omnipresent and often so good that it's easy to take for granted. But Saturday, when Kyle Terada of USA Today Sports Images submitted three shots capturing the various stages of Washington State receiver Gabe Marks' third-quarter TD catch at Cal, we stopped and took a double take. Or in this case, a triple take.

These photos put the fan about as close to the action as you could possibly hope. But adding to the luster is that this isn't just any play, but a scoring play. Truly everything had to line exactly right to get these three shots, so we're putting them altogether here in our modest tribute to the glory of sports photography.
