Here are our two "Sequence of the Week" series of photos from WSU's 38-24 win over Arizona State. The first captures Harrington
's 23-yard catch-and-run that put the Cougars up 17-14 on Arizona State with 7:57 left in the third quarter.
The play capped a nine-play drive that covered 94 yards and nearly four minutes. Two key plays in the drive were third-down Falk passes to Dom Williams
and Kyle Sweet
for first down.
Harrington finished the day with four catches for 35 yards and three rushes for 10 yards.
The second series of shots captures Thompson's 8-yard scoring reception from Falk with 13:12 left to play in the fourth quarter. The score, which went to replay review, capped an eight-play drive that covered 73 yards and a little more than three minutes. A key play of the drive was a fourth-and-1 at WSU's 36, when Falk found Gabe Marks for 16 yards.
