NFL Cougar Highlights: Week 12

DOESN’T MATTER IF you’re a fan of New York Jet Chris Ivory or not, if you’re a fan of football there’s no denying his touchdown run past, through, and over Miami defenders on Sunday was a thing of beauty.

The fourth-quarter bull-run saw the former Washington State running back shake off at least five would-be tacklers on his way to a 31-yard touchdown. The run also put the game out of reach for the Dolphins, eventual 38-20 losers to the Jets.

Ivory also caught two passes on a pair of targets for 15 yards.

Here’s how the rest of the NFL Cougs performed in week 12.

Husain Abdullah, FS, Kansas City, 7th season: Posted one solo tackle in Chiefs’ 30-22 win against Buffalo.

Deone Bucannon, LB, Arizona, 2nd season: Tallied five stops (4 solo), including one tackle for a loss, in the Cardinals’ 19-13 defeat of San Francisco.
