Newsline: Future Coug Justus Rogers a born leader

FUTURE COUGAR Justus Rogers isn't generally seen as a quarterback at the Pac-12 level by most analysts. But according to this article in the Seattle Times, there's no questioning he has the leadership part of the equation down.

Rogers will be Bellevue's starting quarterback when the Wolverines go for the 3A state title against Eastside Catholic Friday at 7:30 p.m. (Eastside Catholic is coached by former Coug RB/TE Jeremy Thielbahr).

Rogers will get a shot at QB at Washington State this spring, too, he's expected to graduate early from high school and enroll in January.

Analysts see his best position at the Pac-12 level elsewhere, perhaps safety.  But Rogers has plenty to offer as a QB, Bellevue coaches and teammates say.
