Out of Woods Cross, a suburb of Salt Lake City, Maka is listed at 6-2 1/2, 200-pounds.

Pututau is out of Cottonwoods High in Salt Lake City, checks in at 6-3, 230-pounds.

Cottonwoods is the same high school WSU signed T.J. Fehoko out of last class. Stretching back to the 70's, it has steadily produced D-I talent.

QB Luke Falk also hails from Utah -- Logan is about 90 minutes northeast of Salt Lake City.

Washington State's area recruiter for Utah is d-line coach Joe Salave'a.
