NFL prospects for Marks, Dahl, Vaeao & more

IF GABE MARKS decides to forego his senior season at Washington State, where might he go in the NFL draft? Who are the Cougs' top two NFL draft prospects? For answers, we turned to NFL Draft guru Rob Rang.

Marks leads the Pac-12 in receptions and touchdowns. But the wide receiver class is stacked this year, says Rang.

"I still see Marks as a middle-day-three prospect, likely the 5th round or so," said Rang.

Rang sees two Cougars, both seniors, taken ahead of Marks in this year's draft -- DL Destiny Vaeao and LT Joe Dahl.

And Vaeao, Rang says, figures to get a lot of ink in 2016 before the draft.

"Dahl and Vaeao are the better (draft) prospects, in my opinion -- Vaeao hasn't received the attention he deserves, but he will soon. He's a powerful player who projects nicely to the 4-3 and 3-4 alike."

Rang put up a tweet just yesterday on Vaeao.

Rang sees Cougar wide receiver Dom Williams potentially working his way into the draft mix as well.

"Dom Williams has a chance to get drafted if he works out well," said Rang.

Rang sees the other Cougar seniors, including LG Gunnar Eklund, DL Darryl Paulo, LB Jeremiah Allison, safety Taylor Taliulu and OL Jacob Seydel, as likely undrafted free agents at this point.
