Washington State releases spring football schedule

WASHINGTON STATE has released its spring football schedule. The Cougars are scheduled to practice Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at Martin Stadium and/or Rogers Field, with 15 sessions starting on March 24 and culminating in Pullman on April 26.

The first two days of the spring are NCAA-mandated helmets only sessions, after which the pads go on.

The spring game will again be held at Joe Albi Stadium in Spokane, on Saturday, April 23 at 1 p.m.

Under Mike Leach, the spring game is the penultimate practice session with the 15th and final spring practice held in Pullman -- a session Leach uses to work on areas gleaned from the spring game that need the most attention.
