Connor Neville is going to be a Coug.
On Saturday, the Wilsonville, Ore., junior announced on his Twitter page that he has committed to Mike Leach and Washington State.
The 6-2, 195-pounder is indeed in Pullman for the Jr. Day event, but this is not his first time out on the Palouse. The newest member of the 2017 class took an unofficial visit to Pullman in the fall, giving CF.C a raving review of his trip.
And it turns out things went so well for him on Saturday, that he didn’t want to waste any more time in making his decision. In addition to the Cougs, Neville also had offers from Boise State and Hawaii. He was also receiving interest from Arizona State, Washington, Georgia and others.
As a junior last fall, Neville put up some massive numbers, throwing for 3,110 yards and 37 touchdowns. He added three additional scores on the ground. The Oregon native joins three-star defensive back Tayari Venable as the known WSU verbals.
Note: Neville is still in Pullman, but told CF.C he'd be able to speak one-on-one with us when he is off campus on Sunday.
