WSU recruiting: Big Monday on tap for Cougs?

WIDE RECEIVER prospect Isaiah Hodgins out of Walnut Creek, Calif., announces his college destination on Monday. His offers list is an eye-opener, featuring Washington State, Oregon, Michigan, Nebraska and others.

Hodgins (6-3, 190) out of Berean Christian High is ranked three stars on, with scholie offers from half the Pac-12 (Wazzu, Oregon, Washington, Utah, Colorado, OSU) in addition to Michigan and Nebraska.

If Hodgins verbally commits to the Cougs, it figures to be the most impressive recruiting get in the Mike Leach era (based on offers) at Washington State. Running backs coach Jim Mastro has been running the recruiting point for WSU.

As a junior, Hodgins racked up 84 receptions for 1,483 yards and 23 TDs.  He posted 2,089 all-purpose yards and also picked off five passes on defense.

Hodgins is expected to make his announcement on twitter on Monday night.
