INCYMI: WSU's June camp tour begins Friday

THE LARGEST GATHERING of prep talent in the state of Washington, the Northwest Elite Camp run by former Washington State QB Cole Morgan, kicks off today at the Starfire Sports Complex in Tukwila from 5-9 p.m.

"We are going into our ninth year and the camp is just getting bigger and better," Morgan told Scout.com. "We're expecting 600 kids at it this year."

Eight Pac-12 schools will be represented, Morgan said, with a 5:1 player to coach ratio.

The NW Elite Camp is one of two satellite camps Cougar coaches will be coaching at on Friday – Washington State will also be in Portland at the Northwest Collegiate Showcase.

This weekend, Washington State will hold its own camp in Pullman. Cougar coaches will work nine camps in four states this month, including a five-camp swing through California and finishing up with the All-Poly Camp in Utah.
