Cougs will play night game in Boise

WASHINGTON STATE’s second game of the season at Boise State Sept. 10 will kick off at 7:15 p.m. on ESPN 2. TV and game times have now been set for the Cougs’ non-conference slate, along with the Apple Cup.

Of the four WSU games where TV selections have been made, two are set to start at 5 p.m. or later.

WSU opens the season Sept. 3 hosting Eastern Washington. Kickoff is set for 5 p.m. and will be broadcast by the Pac-12 Networks. After the Boise State game, WSU hosts Idaho on Sept. 17 at 11 a.m., also televised by the Pac-12 Networks.  (The 11 a.m. window is new this season, with the Pac-12 trying to decrease the number of night games after last season's slate drew complaints from fans and some coaches).

The Apple Cup on Friday, Nov. 25 is scheduled for a 12:30 p.m. start in Pullman and will be shown on either Fox or Fox Sports 1.  It is the only WSU game not played on a Saturday this season.

The remaining television game selections and start times, starting with Week Four vs. Oregon on Sept. 23, will be made 12- or six-days in advance.

Season tickets are on sale now to the general public and are available online at or by phone at 1-800-GO-COUGS. Tickets for Cougar road games are also on sale now.  Mini plans for home games go on sale July 11. Single-game tickets will go on sale July 18 for Cougar Athletic Fund (CAF) members and Monday, August 1 for the general public.
