WSU’s Gabe Marks, Parker Henry headed to Pac-12 media day with Mike Leach

TWO COUGAR SENIORS, Gabe Marks and Parker Henry, will represent Washington State and accompany Mike Leach to Pac-12 media days in mid-July.

Cougfan.com's Lew Wright will be on hand to bring you the coverage. The two-day Pac-12 event runs a couple weeks earlier this year than has been customary -- July 14-15 -- in Hollywood, Calif.

Washington State’s contingent will take center stage and field questions from the assembled media on Thursday, July 14 at 11:30 a.m.  On Friday, Leach, Marks and Henry  will conduct interviews with Pac-12 television partners (Pac-12 Networks, ESPN and FOX).

Marks, an old hand at taking to the media, is on pace to shatter the Pac-12 all-time career record for receptions this season. He needs 67 to match all-time leader Nelson Spruce, who just graduated from Colorado. Marks had 104 grabs this past season.

Henry, who came to WSU as a walk on in 2012 and earned a scholie in 2014, started eight games last season at the nickel spot and was fourth on the team in tackles with 71 stops.

Pac-12 commish Larry Scott will kick things off at 9 a.m. on Thursday with his annual state of the league address. On Friday at 9 a.m., Pac-12 VP of Officiating David Coleman will hold a Q & A.
