WSU football: Why this Pac-12 prediction might hold some weight

ARENA FANATIC picks Washington State to win the Pac-12 North this season. Wait. Who the heck is Arena Fanatic, you say?

“Wait, wait. Hear me out. Don’t dismiss this. You’re very quick to dismiss. Don’t dismiss.”
-George Costanza

According to stassen.com, Arena Fanatic bested everyone last season -- finishing No. 1 in college football preseason prediction accuracy for the 2015 season.

Yes, No. 1.

Better than Phil Steele (3rd); Athlon (t-4th); ESPN and Sports Illustrated (t-6th); Lindy’s  (14th); USA Today (16th) and Sporting News (18th).

Arena Fanatic picks Washington State to win the North in '16, with UW and Stanford tying for second place. Oregon is predicted to finish fourth, Cal fifth and Oregon State sixth.

In the South, Arena Fanatic picks USC to finish atop the division and meet Wazzu in the Pac-12 title game.  UCLA is predicted to place second in the South division, with Utah, Arizona and Colorado all finishing in a tie for third, leaving ASU in sixth place.

NOTABLE NOTE:
Phil Steele holds the top spot for college football preseason prediction accuracy for the past 3-year, 5-year and 10-year periods, according to stassen.com.
