WSU coaches wasting little time taking advantage on new NCAA social media rules

WASHINGTON STATE running backs coach Jim Mastro early Monday morning retweeted posts made by future Cougars Isaiah Hodgins and Cyrus Habibi-Likio. Special teams coach Eric Mele did the same with undecided in-staters Kelle Sanders, Henry Bainivalu, Joe Tryon and Abraham Lucas. What gives?

New NCAA rules went into effect August 1 allowing college coaches to share, like or retweet prospects' social media posts.

The new rule might even result in retweets from Mike Leach’s twitter account, which last informed its 54,300 followers back in March.

A quick twitter check shows WSU’s Alex Grinch and Ken Wilson have also retweeted WSU verbal and prospects’ posts (Tyquez Hampton, Ezekial Noa).

It's a pretty good bet a lot more retweets are on the way from WSU’s coaching staff.
