CFC TV: Were Mike Leach’s expectations met on Day Two of fall ball?

LEWISTON – Mike Leach after Day Two of fall camp said he expected a fairly high level of play at the start of fall ball at Washington State – and it sounds like the Cougs may have done a little better than that.

Not that Leach is anywhere near satisfied after two helmets-only practices.

The WSU head man also broke down the ongoing competition between wideout Gabe Marks and corner Darrien Molton along with some of the positives surrounding safety Shalom Luani and o-lineman Cody O’Connell.

He also talked recruiting evaluation and identified the most optimistic player in the world.
