Washington State fall camp: Notable roster notes

BACK WHEN Mike Leach and running backs coach Jim Mastro arrived to Washington State ahead of the 2012 season, the average weight of the Cougar running backs was 171 pounds. The four scholie running backs on the Cougar depth chart heading into the 2016 campaign now average 206 pounds - a whopping 35-pound increase.

Gerard Wicks checks in at 6-0, 227 pounds, with Jamal Morrow at 5-9, 201 pounds.  Keith Harrington is listed at 5-8, 195 and James Williams checks in at 5-11, 199 pounds. Through the first two days of camp, Wicks and Morrow have been running with the 1's, with Harrington and Williams on the second team.  (True freshman Romello Harris [5-9, 182] is expected to redshirt this season).
