TV/times announced for WSU hoops Pac-12 schedule

WASHINGTON STATE MEN’S BASKETBALL this season will play 13 conference games on the Pac-12 Networks, it was announced by WSU SID on Thursday. The Cougs open the Pac-12 slate at Washington on ESPNU on New Year’s Day at 5:30 p.m.

Washington State will also play eight nonconference regular season games, for a total of 21 Cougar basketball games, on the Pac-12 Network in 2016-17. The Cougars will appear on ESPNU four times and Fox Sports 1 once during Pac-12 play.

After the conference opener vs. the Huskies, Washington State will play a ‘home’ game vs. Oregon State on Jan. 4 at Spokane Arena at 8 p.m. (disregard below where the schedule that has that game in Pullman). The OSU game marks a streak of 11-straight Cougar basketball games televised on the Pac-12 Networks. The Cougs’ Pac-12 home opener at Beasley comes against Oregon, Jan. 7 at 4 p.m.

The Cougars will wrap up the Pac-12 season in Los Angeles, against  USC on March 1 (7 p.m.) followed by UCLA on March 4 at 6:30 p.m. The USC game will be on Pac-12 Network while the UCLA game will air on ESPNU. All 12 league schools will then head to Las Vegas for the Pac-12 tournament March 8-11.

Washington State opens play this season with an exhibition game against Carroll College out of Montana on Nov. 6.  The Cougs’ first regular season game is Nov. 11 vs. Montana State at 4 p.m. at Beasley.
