CFC TV: Cougar corner Marcellus Pippins busts a move after his 72-yard TD scoop and score in win; Cougs regain swagger

PULLMAN - Washington State players have some of their swagger back as they field media questions following their 56-6 win over Idaho. There was even a DB busting some moves for the camera.

Washington State University fans can, for at least two weeks, breath a little easier after a solid rout of Idaho 56-6 Saturday. The young season has already seen a frustrated and misfiring Cougars to individually call out their poor performance.

In today’s post-game interviews, jubilant Cougars sung praises of one another and even danced. Yes, Marcellus Pippins danced while addressing the media. When asked why he didn’t perform a touchdown dance following his 72-yard blocked field goal return, Pippins showed maturity.

“I was gonna dance, but I looked over and saw the ref right there and I thought he was gonna throw a flag so I didn’t” said Pippins. One thing is certain, Pippins can dance.

Of the Cougars who spoke Saturday afternoon, all resounded the same message, they were prepared. Perhaps after two straight losses, off-field distractions, and a Mike Leach coined “lack of toughness”, this team was prepared to take matters into their own hands.

Here's what the players had to say:

James Williams

Luke Falk

Marcellus Pippins

Gerard Wicks

Dylan Hanser and Robert Taylor
