NFL Cougar Highlights: Week Seven

HYBRID LINEBACKER Deone Bucannon posted 13 tackles — 11 solo — in Arizona’s 6-6 sister-kisser with Seattle on Sunday, the second time in three weeks he’s notched double-digit defensive stops.

Averaging over seven tackles a games, Bucannon is on pace for a season total of 118, which would exceed his career-best of 112 posted in 2015.

Philadelphia defensive tackle Destiny Vaeao had one solo stop in the Eagles’ 21-10 win over Minnesota.

Fellow Coug Xavier Cooper was back in form after sitting out week six due to a shoulder injury. He logged four tackles (3 solo) in Cleveland’s 31-17 fall to Cincinnati.

Jacksonville running back Chris Ivory the ball five times for 48 yards, with a long of 42, in the Jaguars’ 33-16 loss to Oakland. He was also targeted on four pass plays, catching 2 for 3 yards.

Ivory also put the ball on the ground for the second time in as many weeks.

Offensive lineman Joe Dahl and his Detroit club defeated Washington, 20-17.
