CFC TV: Mike Leach says with Shephard gone, group effort led by Nichol; A brief history on IWR coaches, laying claim to that CFB innovation

PULLMAN - Coach Mike Leach spoke from Washington State's Indoor Practice Facility aka the bubble after Saturday's bowl practice. The WSU head man was asked who is coaching the inside receivers with former coach JaMarcus Shephard gone to Purdue.

The short answer is a group effort, led by outside receivers coach Dave Nichol.  And it of course it naturally led into a brief history of the inside wide receiver coach, which Leach says he invented by the way, during his Texas Tech days.

Leach also was asked about the national recognition for Cody O'Connell and the reemergence of linebacker Isaac Dotson after Saturday's closed indoor session (media is unable to watch practice when the Cougs head indoors and close the doors to the IPF).
