WSU football notebook: The importance of Luke Falk's decision on NFL draft will have big impact on Pac-12, says writer

COUGAR QUARTERBACK Luke Falk will make the Pac-12’s most important draft decision on whether to enter the NFL early, says a longtime writer.

1. Washington State QB Luke Falk: The redshirt junior (and former walk-on) refuted a late-October report that he would enter the draft. We’ll see. His return would make the Cougars a threat in the North and elevate the quality of the entire conference.

The official WSU tailgate the day of the game on Dec. 27 runs from 1-4 pm -- but registration for the tailgate closes tomorrow.  (Additional Holiday Bowl information can be found on the WSU alumni and WSU sites.

Cougar Athletic Fund executive director Uri Farkas said on Cougar Calls with Bill Moos Monday that WSU has 200 tickets remaining from the extra 1,000 tickets the school obtained after selling out its 7,000 ticket allotment.  Moos was feeling under the weather, host Derek Deis said, and had to miss the final radio show of 2016.

THE LINE out of Las Vegas on the Holiday Bowl on Monday morning showed Washington State as a 10-point favorite. 

The line originally opened with WSU a 4 1/2 point favorite, moved to 6 1/2 in a few hours and then jumped to 9 1/2 on the news last week regarding the Minnesota player suspensions.
