Renton DE Joe Tryon decommits from WSU, flips to UW

RENTON's JOE TRYON has decommitted from Washington State and flipped his verbal commitment to UW, prep sources have confirmed to CF.C. Tryon was scheduled to officially visit Wazzu this weekend but will instead take a short car ride and trip to UW, the sources said.

Coaches from Washington State, Washington and Utah were all at Tryon's basketball game last night.

The 6-5, 230-pounder out of Hazen High earned his WSU offer after attending the Cougs’ summer youth camp last summer and went crimson back in August.

The 3-star product is rated the No. 23 d-end prospect in the West by Scout.com and No. 134 nationally.

With Tryon’s departure Washington State has four DE/RUSH types on the commit list, including 3-star in-state product Kelle Sanders out of Lacey.
