Where does Mike Leach rank among CFB coaches?

MIKE LEACH climbed five spots in this year's ranking of coaches. Washington State's head man is one of three Pac-12 coaches included in its top 25.

25. Washington State Cougars  "Mike Leach (Last season: 30): I'll admit I was a bit skeptical about Leach at Washington State after his first three seasons, but he's gone 17-9 the last two years, including a 13-5 record in conference," writes Tom Fornelli.

The Pac-12 coaches who made CBS Sports' top 25: Leach (25); David Shaw at Stanford (8) and Chris Petersen at UW (7).  Alabama's Nick Saban, Ohio State's Urban Meyer and Clemson's Dabo Sweeney took the top three spots.

CBSSports' voters were Dennis Dodd, Ben Kercheval, Chip Patterson, Barton Simmons and Fornelli. You can view the rankings from 26-65 here and the top 25 here.

WASHINGTON STATE has the least amount of off-field/recruiting staff members in the Pac-12, according to an NCAA survey obtained by CBSSports.

The Cougars have one, all other Pac-12 schools have at least three. UW has five and Oregon State leads the way with six.

Washington State has 25 total staff members in football, the conference average is 28.6.  UW has the most, with 35.
