Ferguson feels good about Ol' Wazzu

WASHINGTON STATE coaches Bill Doba and Kelly Skipper were in-house with Delbert Ferguson and his parents today, and while he didn't say he verbally committed to the Cougars, he did say some things that will put a smile to the faces of the Cougar Nation.

"They just told me that it would be a good situation for me out there, a good opportunity to play and all that good stuff," Delbert Ferguson told TheInsiders.com Wednesday night.

The Cougars entered into the recruiting process for Ferguson kind of late, but have made up a truckload in a hurry. "I've pretty much made my mind up," Delbert said. "I feel like I'm going to be a Coug, but my parents have a say in this, too.

"I think they got a good feel for how it's going to be like for me, and if they are good and comfortable with it, that's what's going to happen. I'm already sold on it."

There's a good chance Delbert will have a press conference to announce the news. "I've already pretty much told one of the reporters here that I would give him the story," Ferguson said.

Washington State fans should expect some good news soon from the state of Ohio, it's just a matter of time.
