HOW WELL DOES quarterback <b>Drew Bledsoe</b> respond to adversity? Very well, if his performance against St. Louis on Sunday is any indication. Coming off the worst outing of his professional career, the WSU great—along with another Cougar great, kicker <b>Rian Lindell</b>--sparked the Bills to a big win over the Rams.

Drew Bledsoe, QB, Buffalo: Connected on 15 of 24 passes for 185 yards, three touchdowns and one interception in 37-17 win against the Rams.

Erik Coleman, S, New York Jets: Made four solo stops, one assist, one pass defense, and one sack for a three yard loss in 10-7 defeat of Browns.

Devard Darling, WR, Baltimore: Did not play: Injured reserve (heel); out for remainder of season.

James Darling, LB, Arizona: Led all Cardinal defenders with five solo tackles, one assist, and one pass defensed in 35-10 fall to the Panthers.

Jason David, CB, Indianapolis: Defensed one pass, assisted on one stop, and returned two punts for nine yards in 41-10 whipping of Da Bears.

Mark Fields, LB, Carolina: Came up big for the Panthers in their 35-10 spanking of Arizona by recording 11 solo stops, one assist, and one sack for a four yard loss.

Steve Gleason, S, New Orleans: Did not play: Inactive due to hamstring injury.

Jason Hanson, K, Detroit: Was good on both PAT's and one FG attempt (from 48 yards) in 22-19 loss to the Vikings.

Joey Hollenbeck, C, Seattle: Did not play: Practice squad.

Rian Lindell, K, Buffalo: Hit on all kicking attempts in 37-17 win against St. Louis. Was 3 of 3 on point-afters and 4 of 4 on field goals (from 21,35,33).

Rien Long, DT, Tennessee: Registered three solo stops and one sack for a three yard loss in 18-15 defeat of Jacksonville.

Rob Meier, DE, Jacksonville: Tallied six solo tackles—second most for the Jags—in 18-15 fall to Titans.

Raonall Smith, LB, Minnesota: Did not play: Out due to recent concussions.

Lamont Thompson, S, Tennessee: Made four solo stops in 18-15 win against Jags.

Robbie Tobeck, C, Seattle: Started in Hawks' 24-17victory against Miami.

Marcus Trufant, CB, Seattle: Led all Hawks with nine solo tackles in 24-17 over the Dolphins. Also registered one pass defense.

Brian Walker, S, Detroit: Did not play: Injured reserve; out for season.

Cory Withrow, C, Minnesota: No stats from Vikings' 22-19 victory against the Lions.
