The Cougar Holiday Experience returns for the fourth year of seasonal gatherings in Olympia, Lynnwood and Bellevue starting Friday, Dec. 3 and continuing through Sunday, Dec. 5.
Each event features an extended selection of Cougar merchandise as distributed by the Students Book Corporation. (S.B.C. is affectionately known by WSU students and alumni as "The Bookie.")
Limited supplies of Cougar Gold Cheese will also be available for purchase at each of the Cougar Holiday Experience events.
Among other activities, WSU's mascot, "Butch the Cougar," will don a Santa suit at each event. Photo opportunities with "Santa Butch" will be available at all three locations.
The opening event will be in the Olympia area Friday, Dec. 3 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Tyee Center, 5757 Littlerock Road S.W. Tumwater.
Saturday, the festivities move north to the Embassy Suites Hotel in Lynnwood. The Dec. 4 function runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Embassy Suites Hotel, 20610 44th Ave. W., is located just off I-5 at Exit 181. The location is also near Alderwood Mall and other regional shopping outlets.
The final Cougar Holiday Experience event will be at the Bellevue Embassy Suites Hotel Sunday, Dec. 5 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Bellevue Embassy Suites Hotel, 3225 158th Ave. S.E., is easily accessible from I-90 and I-405.
All of these events are free (including parking.)
